Hi, thanks for reporting this issue!

The scraper currently has a bug in detection of nearby results (related to input field includeNearbyResults) which causes that all restaurants from West Midlands region are discarded. The issue affects locations that are further divided into sub-locations - such as West midlands location with Birmingham or Knowle sub-locations. When you use more specic input URL such as https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurants-g186402-Birmingham_West_Midlands_England.html, the scraper should work as intented (example run).

Before we update the scraper, you can use one of the following workarounds:

  1. Enable includeNearbyResults option on the input. Then the scraper won't require the location of results to match West midlands and its ID 186401 precisely (ID is extracted from the URL: https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurants-g186401-West_Midlands_England.html). It will accept results from sublocations as well - such as Birmingham with ID 186402.
  2. Replace a single start URL https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurants-g186401-West_Midlands_England.html with URLs of sublocations, e.g.:
