Missing media URL in retweeted
Closed
Hi Kaitoeasyapi Team,
I am using your Apify actor kaitoeasyapi/twitter-x-data-tweet-scraper-pay-per-result-cheapest
to scrape tweets from a specific Twitter list.
I've encountered an issue where the actor sometimes fails to return the media URL (media_url_https
within extendedEntities
or retweeted_tweet.extendedEntities
) for certain retweets, even when the original tweet clearly contains an image or video that is visible on the X/Twitter platform.
A specific example is the tweet with ID: (URL: https://x.com/SethCL/status/1913751970747154767) (URL: https://x.com/SethCL/status/1913751944289452336) (URL: https://x.com/SethCL/status/1913751934130913524)
This tweet is a retweet and the original tweet contains an image (e.g., https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Go5k-CfXkAE3f9v?format=jpg&name=medium). However, the JSON output from the actor for this tweet ID shows an empty extendedEntities
: {}
and the nested retweeted_tweet
object also contains an empty extendedEntities
: {}
(and often other empty fields within retweeted_tweet
as well).
My actor input includes "include:nativeretweets": true
.
Could you please investigate if this is a known issue or limitation? Is there any input configuration I might be missing, or is the actor sometimes unable to retrieve the full details (including media) of the original tweet when processing a retweet?
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards,

Thanks for your feedback.
I will check it.
Best regards.
