Get a demoHi, I'm wondering if there's a limit on the amount of productUrls that can be added to the json input/bulk edit? I'm testing it, but before trying on a 12k product urls I'll like to know if there could be restrictions, or considerations. thanks
Hi, thanks for opening this issue!
There is no hard limit and technically the scraper should be able to handle infinitely as many (well until it reaches maximum memory, but that shouldn't happen). We have one enterprise customer that's running 10k products at once daily. So running 12k products at once shouldn't be a problem, however I would still advise you to split the runs into like 1k products at once. That way, it will be easier to track stuff if something goes wrong (e.g., due to an incorrect input or a bug in the scraper).
Also, just FYI, I'm not sure if you are aware of this - just a few days ago, Amazon has hid their reviews behind a login-wall so we can't scrape them fully anymore. We've implemented a feature, that's able to scrape 8 reviews per product now, which is better than nothing.
I hope this helps, thanks and happy scraping!
Hi, I'm aware of that login-wall, it's because of that that I'm investigating options. I've being reviewing the products, and can see that most of the time (uncommon), on a daily basis they do not go over 8 new reviews. On that note, the 8 reviews scrapped, would those be the most recent ones? or the top reviews? (looking for newer reviews).
Thanks for the prompt reply.
Oh sorry, that's our fault, thanks catching this! We've accidentally removed the reviews sort by options from the input schema in one of our recent patches...
The reviews can be scraped by both "Top reviews" and "Most recent" using the sort
("Sort reviews by") input option :)
