The increase in cost is caused on your end. You've changed your proxy configuration to the much more expensive residential proxies, instead of the previously used datacenter proxies.
I'm not sure if this change was accidental or not, as it matches with the date we deprecated the proxyConfiguration input option and replaced it with proxyCountry. You can still use the deprecated field via JSON input and set it to your old settings:

Amazon is quite an exception to the datacenter vs. residential proxy debate, because by default we set all users to residential and as a result, they are actually blocked more than our datacenter proxies. You are one of the very few users that actually use datacenter proxies for Amazon.
Anyway, just recently we've discovered a new method that overcomes blocking on many websites, with Amazon being the next one to implement it for. So hopefully we will be able to use datacenter for everyone :) Stay tuned!
