Hello, we would like to extract data for a specific facebook marketplace advert. The advert URL would be sent in the API request.
As part of the extraction, we would also like the name, id and location of the seller to be returned, alongside data regarding the seller's other listings (title, price, listing time).
If this is something that you are able to complete, please let me know. We are open to discussing a contractual fee and ongoing maintenance. Thank you

Hi there - I have also tried this and cannot get it to work....
If I input the folllowing URL in the URL Listing section at the beginning of the screen - www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/ the scraper completes, but does not return any data. If I play with the URL, I get a URL failure.
Am I doing something wrong?

Hi there, currently, you will need to use the full url like the one below
This is because, the scraper isn't a browser based scraper, therefore currently needs the full url.

Hi, Thank you for your reply - I am able to get the scraper to work when given the URL as you suggested. However, unfortunately there are some full URL formats that appear to be rejected by the scraper, e.g: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1411071892915135/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A7c9ee534-0860-413f-90b6-6380ee230a3d

For the occasions that it does run successfully, would you be open to extending the functionality so that the scraper uses the seller profile id to retrieve the other listings from the seller as well?

Currently, there is no plan to extend the functionality to fetch the listings for a seller as it would make things complicated and slow for this scraper. Also, regarding the url formats that aren't working, I am having a look at it.
