Thank you very much for reaching out and letting us know about your inquiry. It seems like the problem is happening because of the proxy quality. We strongly suggest you use Residential Proxy over the Reddit actor, as suggested on the logs so that you can retrieve the results.

Can you add better proxies as a default option? I would preferred to have complete scraper possibly with customization with my own proxies, but the main interest is just make a request and get results.

Unfortunately, we do not prefer to make the Residential proxies the default for this actor. Some of the users have qualified Datacenter proxies that can scrape data from Reddit. At the same time, some users do not have direct access to Apify's Residential Proxies. That's why we put a suggestion on the logs to use Residential proxies but did not make it as default.
Regarding switching the proxy, the actor can switch between proxy types using Residential or your proxies (Advanced Options). You can define your proxies, Apify Datacenter proxies, or a different proxy group if you have the access to it.
