My language of choice is Javascript/Typescript, because it's the lingua franca for the internet and it's universally applicable. Be it backend (NodeJS), frontend (vanilla JS, React,..), chrome extensions, native mobile apps (React Native), native desktop apps (Electron), microcontrollers (Espruino,..) or AI: it's all possible in Javascript!
Long time ago, when I was just getting into programming, a professor told me something that changed my life forever: "if you can logically think about something and really think it through, then you can program it and it can become a reality"
