Getting blocked

Open

I keep getting blocked with the message: Prospecting is blocked for 24 hours because you have violated our Terms of Services for the Unlimited plan.

I've run this scraper dozens of times over the last year and it's been working. Even last week I had no issues. My last three runs have been blocked. Is there anything I can do to adjust the set up to make this work?

Below are two of the jobs I ran recently.

In order to quickly identify the reason of your issue, I need to inspect your run.

Please share the URL of the run where you faced this issue. You can find your runs on this page: https://console.apify.com/actors/runs

Hi Curious Coder - any updates on this? This is a major bottle neck for us. Any suggestions on how we can make this work?

Thank you.

Hi, I see you are using a datacenter proxy, Try using a residential proxy and let me know how it goes.

I tried another run on the residential proxy. It timed out after 225 records. Here's the link: https://console.apify.com/actors/3de5DRuKU05FLhk22/runs/4FmkimIfUu0kDcuCp#log

Please advise.

It is still not a residential proxy

Please see the attached screenshot. I have it set to Residential. Am I doing something wrong here?

Also, please watch this about the input settings: https://www.loom.com/share/a03fd0166626421580f56e9f0fe0e4bf

OK. Looks like my last run went through and extracted 1000 leads. I'm still confused about why the login email and username fields are missing. Is that a recent change to the input spec?

Login was removed due to increased complexity involving cloudflare checks, But cookies are as good as login as they are valid for long time

In this run you've shared, i checked the JSON input and under proxy, it was not configured as residential. If it was residential, we should see this apifyProxyGroups: ["RESIDENTIAL"]

I'm getting blocked again. I had one successful run and now the second one has been blocked after 525 leads pulled. Here's the link to the run: https://console.apify.com/actors/3de5DRuKU05FLhk22/runs/No8KPfeg7g22sVEVt#log

Please advise.

Here are some guidelines to make the best use of this apollo scraper

  • Do not scrape more than 1k records per day
  • Use same proxy country for every run, and use the country from where you normally login to your apollo account
  • Do not scrape simultaneously with same apollo account, Do not use apollo while scraping

Also wait for 24 hours once you get blocked to try again

So I'm still having issues here. Here are my last two runs:

Successful: https://console.apify.com/actors/3de5DRuKU05FLhk22/runs/WD3COANdA3XHa8gaw#log Not successful: https://console.apify.com/actors/3de5DRuKU05FLhk22/runs/2zu3kMUvupNu9lUBr#log

Before that was the same thing. Getting it to work is very intermittent. i am following all of your recommendations. I've been using this tool for over a year. It's never been this unreliable. Anything else you can suggest here?

Thank you.

I just noticed that i had hardcoded the proxy country to US rather than user's proxy country input. I've pushed an update fixing this. Now it will use same proxy config provided by you. Check it and let me know if that solves the issue
