"Place might be permanently closed"
Closed
Hi! Any way I could get if a place has the tag "Place might be permanently closed"?
I saw the field "permanentlyclosed" or "temporary closed" but sometimes there´s evidence that the place might be closed but not confirmed, it gets tagged by goolge in the url, but not identified in the scrape

Hi! Could you please share a screenshot where it is tagged, ideally with a link to the place that has such tag, so we can have a look at it? Many thanks!
TheGE
Sure...attached an example at https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Punto%20uno&query_place_id=ChIJ64znIgC3vJURGhjdfhGfC3Q It´s both false at temporary and permanent closed You may find many more if you filter "bar" category with ReviewCount=0

Interesting! Thanks for pointing that out! In the meantime, it seems the place has already been verified as open. I will ask the team whether that's something we can easily capture and filter by.
I will let you know of any updates. Thanks for your patience.

Appreciate your response. Let me now when you have an update on this feature. Txs.

Hi Alex! Any news on this?

Hi! Apologies, the team was busy fixing bugs, and also summer vacations are affecting our work. We should be able to look at it next week. Thank you for your patience!

Hi just a kind followup on this request. Any news?

Hi! Sorry for the delay! Our team can't find any places with that tag. Could you provide us with more examples? Thanks!
TheGE
Sure, it´s not super frecuent but it´s there and flagging those edge cases would be useful to reduce false positives.

Hi, thank you very much for providing additional examples!
Unfortunately, we are unable to scrape this data because it is only accessible when logged in. I was able to locate the tag in all your examples while signed into my Google account (see the first attached image). However, when I visited the same page in incognito mode, which matches the scraper's environment, the tag was no longer visible (see the second image). This behavior is consistent in the mobile view as well: the tag is visible only to logged-in users and additionally appears exclusively within the native mobile app (see images 3 and 4).
I also reviewed the API responses captured by the scraper to check whether this information might be present in the data, even if it is not displayed in the UI for anonymous users. However, the tag does not appear in the API data either. Although I identified the request that retrieves this data, it requires a valid login cookie to function properly. For legal reasons, including login credentials in our scraper is not possible, so this method cannot be used to access the data.
