If reel hide likes, likes = 3, but not -1 or 0

Hi, guys! I noticed that if a Reel has hidden likes, I get likes = 3 instead of -1 or 0. It's a bit frustrating.
Could you please explain why this logic was implemented? And is it possible to fix this issue so that it returns -1 or 0 instead of 3?

Thank you! Now the number of likes is zero, but comments also show as zero — even though I can see that the post has comments.
Usually, when likes are hidden, reposts are hidden too, but the number of comments is still visible. In your previous version, the comment count stayed — and that helped at least a little with calculating the engagement rate of the Reel.
If it’s possible to bring back the comment count, I would really appreciate it 🙏
